AA Art Studio
Associate of Arts in Art Studio (66 Credits)
This degree program provides students with the complete first two years of study toward a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts (BFA) at UNM Albuquerque. An overall GPA of 2.50 is required for graduation. The core curriculum requires one course chosen from any of the lower division non-English language offerings of the Departments of Linguistics, Spanish and Portuguese, and Foreign Languages and Literature.

Select two courses from the UNM Core Curriculum in Physical and Natural Sciences, one of which must include a lab.

Select two courses from the UNM Core Curriculum in Behavioral and Social Science.
Foreign Language: (3 credits)
Select one course from UNM Core Curriculum in Foreign Language
Electives: (6 credits)
Select two elective courses from any of the lower division UNM Core Curriculum within the categories list above

Students transferring to UNM-Albuquerque and other four-year institutions should be aware that core curriculum requirements are not necessarily met upon the completion of this degree.
